How can QBC help persons with Autism?
QBC will use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to assist
children, adolescents and adults in home, school and
community routines. QBC will addresscurrent concerns
and life long needs.
Why use ABA?
ABA has been proven to be effective sets of procedures to help persons with Autism in regard to learning new
skills across developmental domains (academic, social and self management skills).
Primary Interventions Used
• Social Skills: QBC can teach the learners behaviors that will increase the likelihood of making and keeping friends.
• Verbal Behavior Training: QBC can teach your learners how to become a more effective communicators at any age.
• Precision Teaching: QBC can teach your learners the role of behavior fluency and how it applies to social and academic needs.
• Maximizing Life Options for Learners: QBC can collaborate with teachers, parents, learners and the community to deliver interventions that will help learners gain more social and career choices.
Autism (and other developmental disabilities):
QBC BCBAs can design ABA programs to both alleviate behavior problems associated with Autism as well as help individuals develop new skills for adaptation to both academic and social task demands. Individuals with other developmental disabilities can be helped as well.
